Our History

The Queen City Church of God in Christ church was established in 1960 by a group of five women in the living room of Mother Rosie Banks. These women had a vision to foster spiritual growth for individuals and families in their community, and the surrounding areas. The current building for which we conduct our services today was constructed shortly after inception in the 1960s. During this time, they were dedicated to a primary mission of offering essential services that supported families, promoted community development, and enhanced well-being to others, all rooted in love.

Our Goal

Our goal is to be a safe space and constant support for our community. We aim to promote a message of love and generosity, helping families and communities thrive and achieve successful lives.

VISION

We envision having a church structure large enough to meet the needs of our people;building a unified community that fosters a future grounded in love and harmony.
